ReplyDeleteBeen trying to comment for a week now as I am such a neophyte when it comes to blogging. (further evidenced by the anonymous send) I find your blog to be thoroughly insightful and well written. Your passion flows through every line and is truly heartfelt. You have an excellent feel for the industry, talent and perspectives. Overall really great stuff. the Qwerty blog was certainly an interesting angle on an age-old and duly antiquated rating system. Although I beg to differ slightly with your review on Avatar as I felt the ability to merge bio-engineering with state of the art militarism was captivating. I felt Cameron did an excellent job of transforming the viewer into Pandoras reality. Im also a huge fan of the 3-D effects he utilized. The fact that the ultimate premise was still greed did seem to minimize the potency of the film and I understand how that might've transcended it into a hokey, cartoon-like feel. Well done Harry, keep up the good work--Had to pull a few strings on The District 7 one sheet but I will have it to you by end of the month. Best....Jeff
