My favorite shakespeare play is a mid summer nights dream! You should read it if you want a good one. Also the movie get over it with kirsten dunst (while it may be a bit of a chick flick) is a very silly adaptation of the play
George R.R. Martin is incredible. If you like it, try Robert Jordan.
Hamlet is a hilarious tragedy, Twelfth Night is something of a sad comedy. Both worth reading. Also, you owe it to yourself to read a version that has plenty of footnotes. A lot of Shakespeare's best lines are mostly lost on a modern audience otherwise. Also, if you ever suspect that a line contains a vulgar reference, it almost definitely does.
Shakespeare, The Song of Ice and Fire, and Harry Potter are all in my top five or six favorite reads. Hope you love them! (Avatar, do with what you will.)
Who's been telling you to read A Game of Thrones for a few years now?
ReplyDeleteThat's right. Me.

ReplyDeleteHarry,
ReplyDeleteShakespeare is great! Check out King Lear. It's a bit of a downer, but it's still my favorite play.
Also, HP3 4 Life!
Wonderful resolutions. Keep us posted.
